Suggested Wording

Reason for change

There is not real reason for a ADS exception to the FEI rule. The current FEI rule as stated in the rest of Article 945 makes more sense. Verbal outside assistance is very difficult to police and applying a elimination penalty is too severe.

If we allow verbal assistance, then we’ll have complete coaching from the sideline (and in dressage for only a ttl of 10 penalty points also even from the carriage). That’s a total game changer! Just because the occasional shout from outside a marathon obstacle is hard to police, is not a good enough reason, to just allow it. We don’t allow drug use on horses either, just because some of it might be hard to police.

After discussing RCS2015#30 with Hardy Zantke I would like to withdraw RCS2015#30.
