I’m opposed to this because as a show manager, I set the house definition of “small pony” different that other shows – because of this difference, some larger “small ponies” may be entered and it may be unsuitable for those turnouts to be without sufficient passengers/grooms during unforeseen circumstances.

I support the proposed rule change: RC PD 209.1 SMALL PONY GROOMS 17-022
to add small ponies to the exception list for number of grooms.

I also respectfully disagree with Mr MikeRider’s reponse that a show manager “set the house definition of ‘small pony’ different that other shows.”

The reasons for having ADS rules is to have a cohesive, consistent body of rules that all competitors can understand and show under.
