Rather than remove these terms, I’d like to see generally agreed upon names for the most common hybrids so that there is some consistency from event to event. IOW, the combination of Int Dressage + Cones +Prelim Marathon is to be known as “X”. The combination of Prelim Dressage + Cones + Training Marathon is to be known as “Y” etc. Otherwise, I think we are going to have the same combinations known by a myriad of different terms with little consistency from event to event.

I agree with Jeff. That’s what we had with Intermediate II which was clear to all of us. And, please get rid of CAC as that as a far flung idea which really isn’t needed – and as far as I know, didn’t fly yet either.

In eventing the hybrid divisions are called A/I (Advanced/Intermediate), I/P (Intermediate/Preliminary), P/T and T/N. -Dressage and show jumping are run at the higher level and cross country runs across the lower level course.
