Current Wording – Article 904.3.4 – Organization:Choice of Event
- At ADS-recognized events, the Organizing Committee of an Event may decide which Competitions are suitable for their particular Event and may include any one, two or all three competitions. Championships must consist of all three Competitions.
At ADS-recognized events, an Organizer may offer four Divisions, with the exception of first-year Events, which may offer only two Divisions. An Event will not be recognized for Intermediate or ADS-Advanced unless the Organizer has run ADS-recognized events, and the TD has submitted favorable reports.

Reason for change

August 27, 2013Great idea.
wgallen says :
August 28, 2013I disagree with the proposed change. I believe that even experienced
organizers, when faced with a first-year venue, should limit participation
in the first year. Sometimes organizers need protection from themselves.
