Proponent – Jeff Morse
Date Posted – 29Jun15
Change Date – 2016
Status – Open for comments. Recommended with edit by CDC
Current Wording – 6.5.c. Excessive use of the whip anywhere anytime will result in disqualification
Suggested Wording – 6.5.c. Excessive use of the whip anywhere anytime will result in disqualification of the driver Athlete from the event.
Reason for change – This rule should specify that it is the driver that is disqualified. Disqualified has a specific meaning defined in the General Rules: GR 208.3 which would mean the driver is no longer eligible to compete in the event, even if it is with a another horse.
