Current Wording – 5.2 Classes will consist of VSE, Small Pony, Large Pony, & Horse turned out as singles, pairs, tandems, unicorns, and four-in-hands. Other combinations may be considered as determined by the OC.

Suggested Wording – 5.2 Classes may consist of VSE, Small Pony, Large Pony, & Horse turned out as singles, pairs, tandems, unicorns, and four-in-hands. Classes may be combined at Organizer’s discretion. 

Reason for change – To be able to offer a “Pony” class (instead of being forced by the current rule language to offer two separate pony classes, may better suit regional and local conditions for the Organizer and available entries.

    I think all classes should be at the discretion of the Organizer. They should not be required to have separate classes for each size, but allowed to combine as appropriate for the variety of entries received.

    A simple change of “will” to “may” here might solve this: “Classes will consist” to “Classes may consist”
