Current Wording – 2.4 Ties will be broken by the fewest penalty points or a drive-off at management discretion.

Suggested Wording – 2.4 Ties will be broken by the fewest penalty points, or a drive-offor may remain at management discretion.

Reason for change – There is nothing inherently wrong or unfair about allowing ties to remain. Since penalty free rounds are not uncommon, under current the current language, a drive off would be mandatory. This will not always be possible at some events. This provides another option to organizers.

I think there should be the option of a coin toss to determine the winner in the event that duplicate awards are not available.
