Penny says :
June 10, 2018This is incorrect for ADS events with a walk section. There is still potential for break of pace. It also assumes that Preliminary can go any pace in B in all events, and this is not so. Even if these new rules pass, the any pace for Prelim is only for the 2 phase marathon. Housekeeping remove “and” after preliminary inside the hazards.

June 14, 2018I am NOT in favor. Let’s keep our WALK Section!

July 19, 2018I am not in favor of this RCS. This assumes that the Walk Section will be removed.
DanRosenthal says :
August 12, 2018The RCP presumes that we will eliminate the Walk Section.
The RCP presumes that we will now allow cantering outside of obstacles at Prelminary.
Just because the USEF approves something does not mean the ADS must follow suit. The wording of our MOU does not in any way require ADS to follow USEF rules just because they exist.
Accordingly I am not in favor of this
Zantke says :
August 24, 2018I fully agree with Dan’s comments – so still not in favor of this RCP.

August 30, 2018Not in favor. Dan R expresses my reasons well.
Linda Yutzy says :
August 31, 2018Not in favor. Rule change is contingent on 920.2.8.1 #19-007 which I also oppose.
