New Wording:
2.2 Athletes and Grooms must wear securely fastened Protective Headgear [add: and Protective Vests] [delete: a back protector] in the Marathon [add: or any competition that includes marathon-type obstacles] that is in compliance with the applicable [add: domestic or] international testing standards. Infringement will result in Elimination.
2.3 In addition, failure to wear such Protective Headgear [add: and Protective Vests] [delete: a back protector] where and when required after being notified to do so by an Official, shall result in a Yellow Warning Card being issued to the Athlete.
from Feb BOD meeting: To require protective vests that meet applicable domestic or international standards for everyone participating on a carriage during a marathon or any competition that includes marathon-type obstacles starting January 1, 2019. Junior requirements would be unchanged.
